Man commits suicide by jumping from the 15th floor of a building

An unidentified man committed suicide by jumping from the 15th floor of Pension towers to his death along Loita Street in Nairobi, Kenya on Tuesday, August 9th. Although the real reason behind the man's decision to take his life remain unclear, according to people working in nearby offices, the man was visiting a relative who worked in the Pension Towers building and things didn’t turn out the way he expected.
Central OCPD Paul Wanjama, who confirmed the incident said investigations are still going on.

Wizkid seems to have addressed the rumors of him dating US singer, Justine Skye.


The rumor which has been ongoing for a while peaked during the One Africa Music Festival, held Friday, July 22, 2016 at Barclays Centre in New York.

To set the facts straight, the singer shared a photo of himself and Justine Skye (above) via his instagram page with the caption: “No Questions”, as he responded to the dating rumors.

The singer also shared some back stage photos at the One Africa Music Fest.

Meanwhile, Wizzy has announced a collaborative project with multiple Grammy award winner, Alicia Keys.
He said “Last night I made magic with Alicia Keys,” Wizkid emphasizing that their upcoming song is “real music” and that he feels, “#Blessed!”

'19 dead and 45 wounded as knifeman goes on rampage at building for disabled in Japan'

At least 19 people were killed and at least 45 wounded in a knife attack Tuesday at a facility for the handicapped in a city just west of Tokyo in a rare case of mass violence in Japan, according to Japanese media reports.

Police said they responded to a call about 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday from an employee saying that they saw a man dressed in black clothes holding a weapon in the grounds of the Tsukui Yamayuri Garden and that something horrible was happening at the facility in the city of Sagamihara.

2 hours after the incident, a man turned himself in at a police station, police in Sagamihara said but left the knife in his car when he entered the station. Police say a 26-year-old man who was a former staff member confessed to the stabbings. The suspect reportedly escaped the facility but then turned himself in He has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and trespassing. Police said there were several casualties but did not provide any numbers.

Four of the injured are said to be in a serious condition.

Japan's national broadcaster NHK reported the suspect's name as Tsukui Yamayuri-en.

Television footage showed a number of ambulances parked outside the facility, with medical and other rescue workers running in and out. Mass killings are relatively rare in Japan, which has extremely strict gun-control laws.

However, Dbanj was praised for an outstanding performance as fans thanked him for saving the day with his cool reaction to the news that Don Jazzy had left and thrilling the fans with his evergreen sound.
The Mavin Boss in reaction to mentions of declining Ben Bruce request used the excuses that he had left the venue and that he was retired.

RRS nab 16 notorious cultists that have been terrorising residents of Agege

16 members of the notorious cult group known as Awawa Confraternity were on Thursday, February 18, arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS)  of the State Police Command.

The suspects identified as Onyekaba Israel, Olatunde Babalola, Innocent Afamuzoka, Ugochukwu Okafor, Sule David, Kabiru Dahiru, Ibrahim Muafu, Tasiru Suraju, Mustapha Ibrahim, Lawal Ibrahim, Yahaya Yusuf, Tochukwu Ede, Lawal Adamu, Chibuwane Nweke and Amaechi Amaga, were among cultists that have been terrorising innocent residents of Agege and its environs in Lagos.

Following tip-off from incessant complaints made by residents describing how the cultists have been making life hell for them, the RRS team led by Olabode Aroge, swooped on them with seven response vehicles, picked up the dreaded group members at different locations around Agege and environs.

"Upon incessant complaints from members of the public, most especially residents of the area, which was further confirmed by preliminary investigations conducted by the Police, our men immediately busted the area and its environs, with seven response vehicles where suspects were apprehended," Aroge said.

According to P.M News, a resident of the area said members of the confraternity were so dangerous and feared by all residents in the area, adding that Awawa Confraternity Group members committed all sorts of nefarious activities, including raping, robbing and looting of people’s properties around the metropolis.

The suspects were handed over to Lagos State Environmental Task Force, Alausa for prosecution. Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Dolapo Badmus who confirmed the arrest, warned parents and guardians to be watchful of their wards and children’s behaviours while at their tender age as charity begins at home.

She added that residents should be courageous enough to report any suspicious movement and criminalities in their neighbourhood to the police, promising that the Police would act accordingly and timely.
